#72: The Pageturner Prize and working with a literary agent

I’m joined by Sophie Lambert, Director at Tibor Jones & Associates and my very own literary agent. Sophie talks about the role of an agent, what it’s often like for an author to work with an agent these days, and the sort of expectations publishers have for your manuscript. She also tells us about the Pageturner Prize, a fantastic opportunity for debut novelists. Pop on your headphones and listen up!

  1. Great podcast. A lot of useful information there. I’m on the third draft of my novel so unfortunately not at a place to submit to the Pageturner competition yet but maybe next time they run it, I’ll be ready.
